Trax appointed as the Pearson NCS distributer in the UK

The company has been appointed as distributor of the Pearson NCS range of Optical Mark Readers. Currently this covers all CE approved scanners such as the Opscan4U range and the new iNSIGHT combined OMR/ICR scanner, details of which are given here. At the signing ceremony in our offices in Rochester, Colin Woolhouse of Trax UK stated "We are pleased to be associated with the arm in the USA as we regard them to be the best value product of their type on the market with superb paper handling qualities that has not been matched by other OMR producers".

Phil Moulton, the US Director of Global Sales at Pearson NCS added "We regard the working relationship with Trax as important as they complement us with their own products, services, and markets segments".

Signing on belhalf of Pearson NCS, John Harnett, the US CEO of Pearson NCS said that he hoped that the relationship would prove long and fruitful to both parties and looked forward to visiting the UK again in the near future.

Since this appointment, the company has sent it's head of support, Mark Hollingworth, on a training course for the maintenance and repair of the Opscan range of scanners (including the new iNSIGHT) and is now able to offer full support and maintenance services. It has also changed the terms of the warranty offered from the original ninety days to one year on both parts and labour with the added benefit of shipping a replacement scanner out to users where required.
