Final Release of Print & Scan in Visual Basic format

As stated in our last newsletter, work has already started on the new VB.NET version of the software. In order to facilitate easier transition an interim version of Print & Scan V6.20 has been released in Visual Basic 6. It has addressed a number of points relating to issues raised by clients regarding anomalies in the previous build versions (any build prior to 147) relating to form design, database and memory usage have been addressed.

The revised system is both faster to execute and easier to use with added features such as a true wild card feature allowing both stars and question marks to be utilised, use of right mouse button for moving text and objects rounds the screen in the form design section. Amendments to the form design structure so as to allow comments boxes for the revised email and web versions plus revision to the database repair and compacting facilities and a host of other minor amendments. This means that the system will be on target to run under the .NET environment by the second quarter of next year.
